What do all of the icons in the 'Icon' column mean? I've found, but it hasn't been updated since August 2011 and I can't find some of the icons I see in Outlook 2016 on that page. Additionally, the appearance of the icons in Outlook 2016 has changed from earlier versions.
Allow to revert to the old Ribbon icon set in Outlook 2016. Boxes in new mail a Microsoft technician had to turn off automatic updates and set.
I've searched the Microsoft support documentation and haven't been able to find anything. There are around a hundred of these and I have a hard time believing they're not documented somewhere in the Microsoft Outlook 2016 documentation. It seems like an excellent place to implement tool tips. Hi Raymond, We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us. We would recommend you to submit your feedback on this. This is the place where you can share your ideas on how to improve Outlook. Really, that's it??
No info about the icons? I'd like to know what the bug is in the Outbox that interferes with sending a delayed send email! The icon appears to change from a sending envelope to what I suspect is a draft status of some sort, but there's apparently NO INFORMATION as to how to fix the problem with this otherwise useful feature. If there were at least an explanation about the darn icons, it could help, no?
I have just upgraded from Office 2010 to 2016, I am the IT person so am installing on my computer just to see what this new version looks like and what it does. We have a column called Icon used in 2010 and it would show an envelope - if mail was unread the envelope was closed and if the email was read it showed an open envelop. The Outlook 2016 still has this column but no envelope is showing in this column it is blank. Does this still work in 2016? This is not the envelope that is received in the lower right hand corner when a new email arrives or a notification.
